Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, at Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix's talent for athletics was apparent from the time she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Following her initial audition and placing within the top two places at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200-meter sprint in only 10 weeks. Felix, who graduated high school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. She then went to at the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. A year later Felix earned her first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making the world junior record sprinting 200 meters within 22.18 seconds. Felix was also the youngest to win the 200 meter in the world championships held in Helsinki in 2005. She won her medal the following year, by beating the long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently at the top of the podium in her various competitions in the Olympics that took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
